Today was more about the walls.  Leonard mudded nearly all day. Here are some pictures to illustrate the before kitchen I took today.  Please ignore the clutter.  I consciously decided not to clean first because I figure the de-cluttered After pictures will appear that much better.  I’m working on a description of the plan for remodel next.

We will be putting in linoleum floor in the new kitchen.  Lil and I are most attracted to madagascar violet, a lavender base with orange and peach patches.  Assuming the rest of the kitchen is in a moderate color palette, what do you think of the purple floor?  Would it negatively affect resale?

We cook a lot and most people don’t seem to do that these days.  We’ll blog about interesting food finds here, as well as updates to our kitchen.  We plan to renovate it in December 2008 – January 2009 to make cooking and eating even more enjoyable.
