I saw something about brining fresh turkey this morning on Twitter. I guess I have always cooked a frozen turkey. We are doing a fresh turkey breast this year. Should I be brining that?

For over 15 years I've celebrated Thanksgiving at someone else's house. The thing I miss is the leftover turkey. I may start making one at my house in October or November just so I can have leftover turkey. :)

One of my favorite parts of thanksgiving is the turkey soup that follows. We freeze the carcass (and any excess leftovers) and make soup to last the rest of the year.
