Alison, just be sure you check to make sure whether they are self pollinating or need multiples. If you don't know, better to plant a few. :)

This is just fantastic! I have a friend who is looking to get rid of a few of the fruit trees from her yard (cherries, pawpaws, and peaches, I believe), and this is convincing me I need to take her up on some of them. Plus I should definitely pick up a highbush blueberry next year, when I have the space ready for it.

Thanks for helping keep me inspired, Rachel!

I am so impressed by your Urban Orchard. I would love to come over and "tour" your yard some time. My yard is so small, but I would love to do something like this. I can't wait to see what it looks like in a few years.
