Would you buy a kitchen with a purple floor?We will be putting in linoleum floor in the new kitchen. Lil and I are most attracted to madagascar violet, a lavender base with orange and peach patches. Assuming the rest of the kitchen is in a moderate color palette, what do you think of the purple floor? Rachel, I LOVE the purple floor. That is a gorgeous color. Not to mention that lavender and sage were my wedding colors, and I’ve always wanted those colors in my kitchen. So “I” would buy a home with a purple floor, but I have no idea about other people. How soon are you planning to sell your home? I say go with what you love, and deal with the selling part when you are actually getting ready to put your home on the market.
I think it fits with the rest of your house. It is not like the purple is overwhelming. Go for it!
